During the pandemic, I had a lot of extra time. Even though I tried to stay indoors as much as possible, I also wanted to capture the city of Amsterdam in these strange times. Walking through the city, with the absence of tourists—and people in general—created a sense of intimacy, an opportunity to see Amsterdam in a different way. I bundled some of the images I captured into a small booklet.
